The aim of the EURO 2010 is to engrave "magic moments" in the handball hearts of all handball fans accross Europe - from Sweden to Slovenia, from Portugal to Poland. Therefore, ticket sales for the EURO 2010 will start as early as 322 days before the event.

On the occasion of the opening of the ticket sales, the CEO of EHF EURO partner company Interwetten, Thomas Daubek, received the first tickets for EURO 2010. The tickets were handed over by Austrian Handball Federation Secretary General, Martin Hausleitner (see photo).

Ticket sales procedure

The ticket sales process will take place in three phases. The first ticket sales phase will start on 3 March and will end on 3 July 2009, the day of the final draw, and offers 30% of all tickets on sale. Limited "Follow your team" packages for the preliminary round and tickets of all matches (preliminary round, main round, semi-finals and finals) at all venues will also be put on sale.

The second phase will begin after the draw on 3 July 2009, when the preliminary venues of each team will be fixed and published. In this sales phase, tickets for all matches (preliminary round, main-round, semi-final and final day) at all venues will be available as well as further contingents of "Follow your team" tickets.
