The sports equipment producing company, DERBYSTAR, and the European Handball Federation have agreed to create a partnership for the Beach Handball discipline. The agreement is valid as of 1 April 2009.
According to the deal, DERBYSTAR will be the exclusive commercial partner in regards to the Beach Handball balls for competitions of the European Handball Federation. DERBYSTAR is providing Beach balls for EHF Beach Handball events such as European Beach Handball Championships and European Beach Handball Tour (EBT) Masters Finals. In addition, the company is working in partnership with the EHF to develop the product and provide event specialised balls in colour and design.
