Bidding process
The National Federations that submitted a letter of interest will receive the official EHF Bidding Manual by 17 June. The final application deadline will be 7 October 2009.
The formal aspects of the applications will be subject to approval by the EHF Executive Committee. The evaluation of the content of the bids will commence after this with the necessary site inspections and the analysis of the documents. The EHF Executive Committee will confirm the bids and forward them to the EHF Congress.
According to the Statutes of the European Handball Federation, the right to allocate a EURO Event and a Younger Age Category European Championship lies with the EHF Congress. However, the Executive Committee of the EHF will table a motion at the upcoming 9th Extraordinary Congress on 24 October in Cyprus in order to modify this final step of allocating the senior EHF EURO Events.
