2009/10 EHF Champions League Draw

The draw for the Group Phase of the Men’s and Women’s 2009/10 EHF Champions League season will take place on 24 June 2009 in the Liechtenstein Museum, Vienna.

Over 300 people will be watching the main feature of the evening, the three important draw events. The EHF EURO 2010 Final Tournament will be drawn at 19:00hrs.

The draw for the 2009/10 Women’s EHF Champions League group phase will be carried out at 20:15hrs.

The 2009/10 Men’s EHF Champions League season will be played according to a new competition format. The group phase will include 24 teams who will be drawn into 4 groups of 6 at 21:40hrs.

Protection

Clubs coming from the same National Federation cannot meet either in the Men’s or the Women’s EHF Champions League Group Phase. The only exception is that the team coming from the Wild Card Tournament of the Men’s EHF Champions League will not be protected in a similar way.
