Draw Procedure

The teams will be divided into 4 different pots according to their ranking at the end of the Group matches.

Pot 1 will have the four winners of the groups
Pot 2 will have the four runners-up
Pot 3 will have the four teams finishing on rank 3
Pot 4 will have the four teams finishing on rank 4

First, the teams in pot 1 will be drawn against the teams in pot 4 with the only condition, that a team cannot be drawn against the team from its own group (e.g. Montpellier as the winner of Group A can be drawn against the teams ranked 4 in groups B, C or D, but they cannot meet Constanta from their own group).

The teams from pot 4 play the first game at home, while the home right in the second match is with the teams in pot 1.

The same procedure is repeated afterwards with the teams in pot 2, which will be drawn against the teams in pot 3 with the same condition as described above.

The teams in pot 3 play the first game at home; the home right in the second match is with the teams in pot 2.
