Men’s 20 ECh: 11 qualify, two places remain open
The Men’s 20 European Championship will be played in Slovakia from 29 July to 8 August 2010. Three teams were fixed participants for the tournament: Slovakia (organiser), Germany (winner of the 2008 M18 ECh) and Denmark (runner-up of the 2008 M18 ECh).
The rest of the teams had to book a ticket for the Final Tournament last week. Out of the eight groups seven were played as Group 2 in Iceland had to be postponed due to the difficult air traffic conditions in Europe. A decision on the new playing schedule of Group 2 will be announced later.
Teams qualified from Qualification Tournaments:
Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Israel, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
The draw for the M20 ECh Final Tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, 30 April 2010 in Vienna.
