Technical Refereeing Committee meeting
On 11/12 March the Technical Refereeing Committee (TRC) held a meeting in Vienna, chaired by Sándor Andorka (HUN), member of the EHF Competitions Commission.
Participants were in addition to the chairman also the members Jiri Konecny (CZE), Dragan Nachevski (MKD), Peter Olsson (SWE) and Young Referee Program Coordinator Henrik La Cour Laursen (DEN), as well as Markus Glaser, Marcos Bestilleiro, Vladimir Rancik and partly Helmut Höritsch from the EHF Office.
The TRC is a think tank for the EHF Competitions Committee in refereeing matters with special focus on referee education and activities.
One of the main objectives of the TRC – the improvement of referee education within the national federations – was also topic for discussion in the sessions over the weekend.
Part of the preview of all courses and seminars in the environment of the TRC was also the list of handball tournaments that will be proposed for the use of couples from the EHF Young Referee Program as well as EHF Candidates:
