Qualification matches now on EHF live ticker

Every goal, every penalty, shot efficiency and two-minute-suspensions – whatever can be said about a match, handball fans can now follow it on the EHF’s new live ticker.

Starting with the Qualification Europe for the 2013 World Championship Play-Offs on Thursday, 29 November, the live ticker can be accessed via http://ticker.ehf.eu

All twelve matches of Group 1 and Group 2 between 29 November and 2 December will be available.

The first match is going to be Netherland’s encounter with Israel in Group 2.

This is a public live test of this new feature and if the live ticker proves successful, it is planned to extend the coverage to even more EHF matches in the future.

Groups 1 and 2 are played in a round-robin tournament format in Slovakia (Group 1) and the Netherlands (Group 2).

Host Slovakia are one of the favourites in Group 1 in which they face Switzerland, Greece and Finland.

Austria, Slovenia, Netherlands and Israel play in Group 2.

Only the first team of each group advances to the Play-Offs.

The 2013 Women’s World Championship takes place in Serbia in December next year.
