Members of the 16 federations whose teams will perform in January at the EHF EURO 2016 have participated in the three-day Heads of Delegation conference
 

Heads of EHF EURO delegations meet in Krakow

The EHF representatives and heads of delegations from all sixteen federations arrived in Krakow on 6 October. That day all the guests visited the Tauron Arena Kraków, which will host 19 matches of the championship (including the opening ceremony and the final).

The highlight of the second day was the conference, during which the delegation members familiarised themselves with information about the conditions of residence in Poland, including transport, safety and medical assistance. In turn the EHF representatives announced important information regarding the teams' participation in the tournament. All the guests took part in a press conference on the occasion of "100 days until the EHF EURO 2016".

The same day representatives of various federations visited the local venues - Katowice, Wroclaw and Gdansk, where in the course of the EHF EURO 2016 their teams will quarter.

The heads of delegations were shown around the hotels for the teams, they saw the training halls and the main arenas.

All participants of the conference pointed to the excellent preparation of the organisers and a high standard of services and facilities. In total, the meeting was attended by 31 people.

The EHF EURO 2016 will take place in Poland from 15 to 31 January 2016.
