Playing times set for VELUX EHF FINAL4 2016

With six weeks to go until the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2016, EHF Marketing GmbH has announced the playing times of all four matches in the LANXESS arena in Cologne.

The semi-finals will take place on Saturday 28 May at 15:15 and at 18:00 CET. The 3/4 placement match on Sunday 29 May will start at 15:15 and the final throw-off in front of more than 19,750 fans will be at 18:00 CET.

Fans watching on TV should nevertheless gather earlier in front of the television: The spectacular and very popular opening shows will commence 15 minutes prior to throw-off.

For the sixth year in a row, the playing times have remained the same. The draw for both semi-finals will take place on 3 May at 12:00 CET in Cologne. Which pairing will play at which time will be discussed afterwards with television rights holders in order to ensure the best possible exposure of the event around the world.

Who the four participating teams will be, still remains to be seen. The VELUX EHF Champions League Quarter-finals will begin on 23 April and end on 1 May and more information on the quarter-final pairings can be found here.
