Familiar and fresh faces: Even the VELUX Robokeeper returns

At the finale of the VELUX EHF Champions League on the 28/29 May, many activities and booths dedicated to the event and the sport of handball are ready for the visitors from across Europe once again.

Fans can especially look forward to the return of the VELUX Robokeeper in front of the LANXESS arena. Kids and grown-ups alike will have to give their best in order to beat the fastest goalkeeper in the world.

As well in front of the arena, JACK & JONES challenge the handball qualities of all the visitors. The JACK & JONES SpeedGoal booth promises not only a fun time, but every participant also has the chance to win one of many coveted prices.

Champy Jumpy, the popular bouncy castle, returns to the delight of all to the party. With a court and goals inside, it invites everyone to jump like the handball stars on court and fly high towards the goal, but with a softer landing.

Plenty to discover inside the arena

Inside the LANXESS arena, many more highlights await handball enthusiasts. There is an opportunity to purchase a souvenir at one of the two VELUX EHF FINAL4 merchandising booths. Available are T-shirts, hoodies and sport towels in the original VELUX EHF FINAL4 style, created by JACK & JONES.

Those who wish to have a closer look at the most coveted trophy in European club handball, have the occasion to do so at the VELUX booth in the lobby on Sunday between 17:00 and 17:30 hrs, before the winning team claim the 12.7 kg trophy for themselves.

Inside the arena, there is also the JACK & JONES slingshot. The task is to aim at different targets with the slingshot and with a little skill participants can win one of many JACK & JONES products.

Anyone with some energy to spare is invited to score and bring natural light to Africa at the VELUX ‘Little Sun’ stand. Score three goals from a three-metre distance and receive a limited edition event handball. But that is not all; the VELUX Little Sun project will send a Natural Light solar lamp to Africa when a fan scores three times or buys a solar lamp for themselves.

Broadcaster Sky will be on site in the foyer of the LANXESS arena. Here, fans interested in watching the German teams play in the VELUX EHF Champions League will have the chance to secure exclusive event advantages. The connection fee is omitted and every subscriber will receive a handball jersey.

The Men‘s World Handball Championship 2017 is presenting the event and the trophy. This is a chance to learn everything about the tournament in France in January next year.

After being present at EHF EURO 2016, Engelbert Strauss is now a partner of the VELUX EHF FINAL4. The supplier of work gear will be present on court as well as on LCD boards.

Tipico, a leading representative of the sport betting sector, sponsors the event for the second consecutive year and will be present around the court. Orlen Deutschland GmbH, known for their petrol stations, has also booked a TV-relevant board package.

All activities and presentations are already accessible on Friday, 27 May, during the opening party. Tickets for the VELUX EHF FINAL4 Opening Party can be purchased online at koelnticket.de or at the ticket-hotline +49 (0)221 80 20 for €7.00 (plus €2.00 service charge) inclusive one free drink.
