Russian-Danish rivalry continues at Women's Youth World Championship

One year after Russia and Denmark reached the final at the Women's 17 EHF EURO 2015 in FYR Macedonia, the two teams will be again fighting for gold when they meet at the Youth World Championship Final in Slovakia on Sunday.

It is an opportunity for Russia to take revenge as it was them who lost last year's final 25:24 on 23 August 2015.

At Slovakia 2016 Denmark reached the final with a 27:18 win against Norway on Saturday night. Russia beat Korea 27:23.

The bronze medal game between Korea and Norway throws off at 15:30 hrs local time on Sunday, 31 July.. The final starts at 18:00 hrs.
