Women's EHF Cup and Challenge Cup knock-out stage draws on live stream

Following the conclusion of both the Women’s EHF Cup Group Phase and the Women’s Challenge Cup Last 16 only eight teams remain in contention for their respective titles.

On Tuesday 14 February at 11:00 hrs the quarter-finals and semi-finals draws for both competitions will be made in the EHF headquarters in Vienna; both of which will be streamed live on YouTube and you can also follow the draw on @EHF_live Twitter account.

 

 

Draw procedure

Women’s Challenge Cup

First on the agenda will be the draw for the Women’s Challenge Cup. The eight sides will be divided into four quarter-final pairings. The eight qualified teams in no particular order are:

LK Zug Handball (SUI)
DHC Sokol Poruba (CZE)
Kram Start Elblag (POL)
HC Lokomotiva Zagreb (CRO)
Virto / Quintus (NED)
H 65 Höörs HK (SWE)
Rocasa Gran Canaria ACE (ESP)
Mecalia Atletico Guardes (ESP)

The first quarter-final leg is scheduled for 4/5 March, the second leg will be played one week later (11/12 March). Upon the conclusion of the quarter-final draw, the draw for the layout of the semi-finals will also take place.  

Women’s EHF Cup

The group winners and the second-placed teams from the group phase will go into separate pots.

Pot 2 (second-place teams)

TuS Metzingen (GER)

There will be no country protection for the teams from France and Denmark, but teams cannot be drawn against sides they faced in the group phase. Teams drawn from Pot 2 will host the first leg on 4/5 March with the group winners from Pot 1 organising the return let on 11/12 March. Similarly to the Challenge Cup, the draw for the order of the semi-final will also take place once the quarter-final pairings are known.
