EHF Lecturer Roman Filz releases new DVD with goalkeeper exercises
EHF Lecturer Roman Filz has published a DVD featuring his favourite goalkeeper exercises. It it the third update of the DVD following earlier releases in 2014 and 2015.
The exercises focus in particular on topics such as stabilisation, dynamics and passing.
"Last year I learned a lot: I attended a goalkeeper trainer workshop run by the German Handball Federation in Kiel and at the end of the year I successfully defended my thesis at Open Master Coach Course in Gothenburg," Fil
"Both events were really great and a good base for inventing new exercises. On the first two DVDs I mainly worked with my goalies of the Austrian youth national team, but this time the exercises are performed by Flo Deifl and Gregory Musel from Moser Medical UHK Krems, a club from the Austrian first league. I have been training both of them since the beginning of this season. I created many exercises just for them.
"The next big project is the second edition of my goalie camp in Austria. I will organise it for teenagers in summer like last year, and I hope to be able to publish the dates soon," says Filz.
