Events in Germany and Spain headline weekend of ebt 2017

As the U17 Beach Handball EURO 2017 throws off in Croatia, the European Beach Tour 2017 continues with events in Germany, Spain, France, Slovakia and Poland.

In Germany, the Karacho Beach Cup Münster 2017 begins on Friday before Aldner Beach Days sponsored by Stoneline on Saturday. 15 teams in both the men’s and women’s competitions will contest the Karacho Beach Cup. The men’s event features all German sides while both Dutch and German teams will vie for the title in the women’s.

Events surrounding Aldner Beach Days began on Wednesday, with performances, hobby tournaments and activities, while the official competition starts on Saturday. Fans can follow the event on Facebook and the official website.

In Spain, the second competition on the Arena Handball Tour 2017 calendar will take place in Malaga. 11 women’s sides will contest the senior title, while 22 men’s teams will play for the men’s trophy. There are also numerous youth categories comprising the action-packed schedule that runs from Friday through to Sunday.

The first event of the ebt 2017 season in France, the Beach Games Seynois, begins on Saturday, along with Hummel Beach Handball 2017 in Cilistov, Slovakia and the VIII Beach Sports Festival Inowroclaw 2017 in Poland.

Points verified after 10 tournaments

Following points verification of the three ebt 2017 competitions with registered teams held last Friday to Sunday, the women’s table has a new leader. BHT GRU JUKO Piotrkow Trybunalski (808 points) moved from fourth to first thanks to their second-place finish in the PGNiG Summer Superliga event in Jablonki, while previous leaders BHC Dubrava are now second with 690 points.

WBHC Kontesa Nera are third with 670 ahead of fellow Croatian side Detono Zagreb on 650, while Polish team BHT Pyrki Poznan round out the top five on 542 points.

In the men’s competition, Detono Zagreb held on to first place with 790 points, while Polish BHT Auto Forum Petra Plock and BHT GRU JUKO Piotrkow Trybunalski are level in second on 778. BHC Croatian teams BHC Sesvete and BHC Cakovec are fourth and fifth respectively, with 740 and 680 points.
