Job vacancy: IT Support Technician

Are you dynamic and well-organised, with a talent for administration and an interest in sport - especially handball?

Can you think logically and are good with numbers? Do you have a good understanding of Microsoft Office?

Are you reliable and able to work under pressure? Are you looking for a varied and challenging role working in IT support and quality management?

If you are team-orientated, have good communications skills and want to work in a young team on a European level, then you could be the right person for this role within the EHF's IT team.

Job tasks:

  • Provide IT support for EHF Office staff and external clients
  • Administration and processing of support tickets
  • Creation of documentation and manuals
  • Coordination of support with external IT partners
  • Client administration
  • Office network support
  • Hardware/software installation
  • Error analysis
  • Market research
  • Assisting with IT projects

Personal profile:

  • Excellent understanding of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Experience and excellent understanding of MS Outlook, Exchange, VM Ware and storage systems Experience in IT support and customer service
  • Excellent German/English (spoken and written)
  • Able to think logically/good understanding of mathematics
  • Experience in event production an advantage
  • Talent for administration/organisation
  • Detail-orientated and reliable
  • Good communication skills and able to work under pressure
  • Class-B driving licence
  • High degree of integrity
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of team
  • Interested in sport

The European Handball Federation is the governing body for handball in Europe. With 50 member federation, the EHF is responsible for a wide range of tasks and activities from promotion and development through to the organisation of high profile sports events such as the VELUX EHF FINAL4 and EHF EURO events. Founded in 1991, the EHF has its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, where both the federation and its marketing subsidiary, EHF Marketing GmbH, have their offices.
