Women's EHF EURO 2018 draw live coverage comes in English and French

For the first time, the European Handball Federation will cover the final tournament draw of an EHF EURO event in two languages: In English and, as the Women's EHF EURO 2018 takes place in France from 29 November to 16 December, in French.

The draw itself on 12 June at 12:00 hrs at the Maison de la Radio will be hosted in English. It is streamed live on the EHF EURO Facebook page and the EHF EURO Youtube channel. Live tweeting in English will also be available on the EHF EURO Twitter account.

To complement this, the coverage on the EHF EURO's Instagram stories as well as on the EHF's Snapchat account will be exclusively in French.

16 teams, one goal = the EHF EURO crown

Following the end of the qualification phase at the beginning of June, the 16 participating teams were seeded in four pots according to their performance and their ranking at EHF EURO 2016.

  • Pot 1: Norway, Hungary, France, Denmark

  • Pot 2: Romania, Spain, Serbia, Montenegro

  • Pot 3: Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Sweden

  • Pot 4: Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia

Norway, France, the Netherlands and Denmark have already been placed by the organisers into a group, so that the preliminary round groups ahead of the draw look as follows

The first three teams of each group will qualify for the main round, with this stage of the competition being played in Nantes (teams from A and B) and Nancy (teams from C and D). The final weekend takes place in the AccorHotels Arena in Paris from 14 to 16 December.

Individual tickets for all matches are available. For the first time at a Women's EHF EURO, a 'one match = one session' ticket policy has been established. Tickets can be bought via www.ehf-euro.com.
