Ramnicu Valcea’s return marks start of DELO WOMEN’S EHF Champions League season

Six years since reaching the semi-finals of the competition, SCM Ramnicu Valcea return to the DELO WOMEN’S EHF Champions League and will get the new season underway at home against SG BBM Bietigheim on Friday 4 October at 17:30 hrs local time.

Defending champions Györi Audi ETO KC begin their campaign at home to Swedish champions IK Sävehof on Sunday 5 October, while Vipers Kristiansand vs FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria is the highlight of Saturday’s clashes.

Round 2 begins with a blockbuster encounter between 2016 champions CSM Bucuresti and last season’s runners-up Rostov-Don on Friday 11 October.

Having reached the DELO WOMEN’S EHF FINAL4 for the first time last season, Metz Handball and Vipers Kristiansand must face each other on the road back to Budapest in the very dangerous looking Group A. They face-off in a double-header in Rounds 3 and 4.
