CO Zagreb without coach

The Executive Committee of Croatia osiguranje Zagreb decided to end cooperation with head coach Senjanin Maglajlija, coach Mirko Bašić and Sports Director Božidar Jović.

The reason for this was the two CL home defeats (against Ciudad Real and HSV) and a bad performance at the last match of Croatian Championship (NEXE Našice vs Zagreb Croatia osiguranje 27:30).

With high-quality management and strong sponsor background, the second ranked Croatian team from Našice is stronger year by year, so it is a question whether this result was only down to the bad performance of Zagreb or a good effort from NEXE Našice.

The announcement of the new Zagreb coach is expected to come in the following days.
