The election of the chairs of the Women's Handball Board and Professional Handball Board completes the line-up of the EHF Executive Committee.
EHF Executive complete: 11 members from 11 nations
The European Handball Federation's Executive Committee is now complete following the election of the chairs of the Women's Handball Board and Professional Handball Board.
Croatian, Lidija Bojic-Cacic, became the first chair of the Women's Handball Board at the body's inaugual meeting in Vienna on 22 October 2012.
She will serve in the position for a two-year period. The Women's Handball Board was created at the 2012 EHF Congress in Monaco and its chair represents the Board on the EHF Executive.
The Professional Handball Board re-elected their Spanish chairman, Joan Marin, again for a two-year period at their meeting on 23 October 2012.
The remaining nine members of the Executive were elected at the EHF Congress in Monaco in June 2012 and will all serve for a four-year period.
With the establishment of the Women's Handball Board, the number of members of the EHF Executive Committee has risen to 11, with each of the 11 members coming from a different European nation.
