Arbitration meetings

On 27-28 February, two bodies convened in the EHF HQ, Vienna to address the latest legal matters inside European handball. Experts of sports legal matters came together from all together 11 countries and discussed the latest legal challenges.

The Arbitration Tribunal (ARB) held its annual meeting. This was a good occasion to review recent cases and get an overview of the activities in the past months. Current issues were also addressed with a focus on continually improving procedures and case handling.

The EHF Court of Arbitration Council (ECA) met for the second time after the foundation of this body. The meeting was used for discussing strategic and operational aspects.

As a closing act, the two legal bodies, ARB and ECA, held a joint Coordination Meeting in order to exchange information and facilitate working procedures.
