Csurgo travel beyond Arctic circle in Round 1
Former EHF Cup Group Phase participants from Hungary, Csurgoi KK will have to travel beyond the Artctic Circle in the first round of the new season as the draw at the EHF Office in Vienna has pitted them against Bodö HK from Norway. The draw which has determined all pairings for Round 1 and 2 has been conducted by EHF Competitions Senior Manager Markus Glaser together with Vladimir Orsag from Dukla Prague and Ioan Dobosi from Poli Timisoara.
The road to a successful title defence for German side Frisch Auf Göppingen in the Men's EHF Cup starts in four months when the competition's third round is played on 19/20 and 26/27 November.
30 teams have to start at the very beginning in Qualification Round 1 (Playing dates 3/4 and 10/11 September); the fifteen winners will join another 17 teams that have been seeded for Qualification Round 2 (8/9 and 15/16 October).
