European Cup seedings published
The draw for the 2012/13 Men’s and Women’s European Cup competition will be carried out on 24 July 2012 at 11.00 hrs in the EHF Headquarters in Vienna.
Following the registration phase and checking the conformity with the entry conditions of the individual clubs, the list of the teams preparing for the draw is now ready to be published.
A total of 176 teams from 39 nations will be competing in the European Cup.
In the men’s competition 85 teams from 38 nations – 55 teams in Men's EHF Cup and 30 teams in Men's Challenge Cup – will start the new season. The new Men's EHF Cup is the result of the merging of the former EHF Cup and the Cup Winners' Cup.
In the women’s competition 91 teams from 35 nations – 44 teams in Women's EHF Cup, 27 teams in Women's Challenge Cup and 20 teams in Women's Cup Winners’ Cup – will take part in the different competitions.
