Five nations to bid for Women 19 European Championship
Following the awarding of the Younger Age Category events for 2014 and 2015 at the EHF Congress in Monte Carlo, Monaco on 22 and 23 June 2012, the EHF once again opened the organisation of the Women 19 European Championship to its member federations.
Deadline for expressions of interest was Tuesday, 3 June 2012 and by this date the national federations of Romania, Slovakia, Portugal, Greece and Montenegro had declared their interest in the organisation of the event.
The Younger Age Category W19 European Championships will be played from 23 July to 2 August 2015.
A bidding manual will now be provided to all nations with a deadline for the submission of detailed bid documents to be received by the EHF by 25 July 2012.
The EHF will visit each of the bidding nations and evaluate the bids before a decision by the EHF Executive at its meeting in September 2012.
