The European Handball Federation will continue the tradition of organising strategic conferences aiming at the development of certain highlighted areas. Following the lasting results achieved at the Youth Handball Conference in 2006 and the EHF Competitions Conference for Men’s Handball, EHF will bring together handball professionals once again.
The EHF Competitions Conference for Women’s Handball will take place on 4-6 June 2010 in Odense, Denmark. The conference will be attended by high profile professionals from various levels such as from National Federations, National Leagues and clubs. Coaches, players will be involved in the discussion just as marketing, media or other experts.
The aim of the event is to initiate further development of the women’s handball "product". The conference will be an opportunity to discuss ways of revitalising the sport and making women’s handball even more attractive and successful.
The EHF is confident that the positive results of the 2008 Men’s Competitions Conference can be repeated, which was seen as a step forward in the promotion of club and national team competitions, the EHF Champions League and the EHF EURO Events in particular.
