Match of the Week moves to Veszprem for the second Last 16 leg
After a surprisingly clear win of Skjern Handball against Telekom Veszprem HC (32:25) last Sunday, the second leg encounter of these two rivals in the Last 16 has been selected as Match of the Week.
The match at the Veszprem Arena will be broadcast live on ehfTV on Saturday 31 March at 17:30 CET, with live commentary from Tom O`Brannagain. An extensive coverage will also be provided on social media channels by our mobile reporter Brian Campion.
The Danish team, which won Group C and eliminated Motor Zaporozhye in the C/D knockout round, continues to impress in the play off. Skjern sprang a surprise in the first leg and their seven-goal win brought one of the competition’s heavyweights on the brink of elimination.
The winner of this Last 16 pairing will face the winner of the HBC Nantes vs BGK Meshkov Brest tie.
