Meetings in Vienna

There will be no club or national team competitions this weekend around Europe. The elected leaders of the European Handball Federation will use this weekend for a series of meetings in Vienna.

On 23-25 October 2008, the newly elected EHF bodies will meet in the EHF Headquarters. The Executive Committee arrive first for the intensive weekend on Wednesday, 22 October.

The technical commissions – Competition Commission, Methods Commission and the new Beach Handball Commission – will hold meetings on 24-26 October. A Technical Delegation/ EHF CAN meeting will also take place.

This will be the first occasion for the EHF bodies since the 9th EHF Ordinary Congress (took place on 26 September 2008) to hold meetings. They will use the opportunity to distribute tasks and discuss plans to for the upcoming period, but also the daily business, competitions, club and national team matters, development projects will be dealt with.
