New season relaunch for ehfTV.com
The European Handball Federation's online video platform, ehfTV.com, is set for a relaunch ahead of the new season.
Working in partnership with LAOLA1.tv, the newly revamped platform will provide live streaming from each and every game from the VELUX EHF Champions League and the Women’s EHF Champions League. Fans will also be able to watch matches on demand as well as the weekly magazine show ‘Rewind – The Handball Show’.
ehfTV.com powered by LAOLA1.tv will be available to watch as the first games of the new season throw-off on Thursday 27 September 2012. All content will be available free of charge. Regional rights restrictions on selected matches will apply.
Coverage will include the ‘Match of the Week’ – one match shown live from each round with full English commentary from expert commentator, Tom O’Brannagain. There will also be additional footage and special camera setups. The focus of this initiative is to offer a wide variety of matches featuring different clubs and venues to give handball fans a real flavour of the competition.
The Group Phase will begin with seven top ‘Match of the Week’ clashes in Spain,
FYR Macedonia, Hungary, France and Germany.
‘Rewind – the Handball Show’, featuring in-depth features and stories from the top matches of each round, will be played out to TV partners on Monday 7:00 / 8:00 GMT after each round and also available to watch at ehfTV.com.
