The EHF EURO 2016 is well underway, as the Main Round heats up with the 12 best teams in Krakow and Wroclaw to battle it out for the big prize.
However, not everyone is in Poland believe it or not. Some stars have missed out, some faced a premature ending to their EURO fairy tale, while many are taking advantage of the season break to step their game up for the imminent EHF Champions League return.
Most importantly, all of them are keeping the spirits high, and follow the EHF EURO 2016 – some more engaged than the others.

But first, let us check out what has been going on in Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw and Gdansk over the past week - and most importantly, why Ivan Cupic has denied High Five the very thing he desires the most.

Moving on to Katowice, records fall and milestones get completed - it is what the EHF EURO is for, after all. Sometimes, one gets so caught up in the spur of the moment to even forget what he has achieved.
Veszprem’s versatile left back Ivan Sliskovic, has not knowingly scored his 100th goal for Croatia in the Main Round match against Macedonia. He was so chuffed when the learned of the milestone, it was cute.
We wish you at least a few hundred more, Ivan!
Meanwhile, his compatriot and Croatia teammate Luka Stepancic, missing out on the EHF EURO 2016 due to an unfortunate and serious injury, is having a prompt recovery after a surgery in Zagreb.
Last week the towering right back was officially announced and presented to the PSG fans via social media, as both “Les Parisiennes” as well as RK Zagreb confirmed the transfer earlier in December.
Stepancic will most likely miss the rest of the season with Zagreb due to recovery from an ACL injury, and will be hopeful of a fresh start with PSG next season with a deal running until summer 2019.
