Partners honoured at EHF 20th Anniversary
This evening saw special awards presented in recognition of the 20th Anniversary of the European Handball Federation.
As part of the ‘HeartBeat HandBall’ celebrations in Vienna, the EHF handed out awards in the three different categories of ‘Players’, ‘Officials’ and ‘Partners’.
The award for the partners, entitled ‘The EHF Handball Award’ was awarded in acknowledgement of those partners who have supported the EHF since its early days.

Gerflor International Sport Floors Director Pierre Lienhard said:
“For Gerflor the EHF is a benchmark federation who are incredibly professional and nice people to work with - we have a lot of trust and a very good understanding with each other. I believe we should do everything we are doing and even double our efforts; more events and more games! Here’s to another 20 years!”
Infront Sports and Media CEO and President Philippe Blatter said:
“It is a great honour and privilege to receive this award. It is even more of a privilege having contributed to the success of the EHF in the last 20 years. It is also a privilege to be a part of this celebration today and many more in the future.”
VELUX Group CEO Michael Rasmussen said:
“Congratulations to the EHF and we are very honoured to receive this award. For us the cooperation with the EHF has always been in a good spirit and extremely successful. We are hoping for many further years of cooperation.”
