Women's 20 World Championship Qualification tournament moved

The European Handball Federation has granted the Serbian Handball Federation's and the Serbian authorities' request to move the group 5 qualification tournament for the Women's 20 World Championship 2018 to Belgrade's Kovilovo Sport Center complex.

The tournament was initially planned to take place in Kragujevac.

This decision was taken to ensure all teams' safety, in the light of the top priority which is carrying out this tournament without the influence of any issues that are not sports related and with the aim of not offering any platform for individuals for any kind of activities that are related to non-sports topics.

The matches will be played as scheduled from Friday to Sunday. However, no media nor spectators will be present.
