Younger Age Category European Championships in 2014 and 2015
The 2012 Younger Age Category Events organised by the European Handball Federation and host Federations have concluded. Turning to future events, the EHF have now annouced the organiser’s for the events in 2014 and 2015.
After Montenegro and Austria, the 2014 Men’s 18 European Championships is to be staged in Poland.
Austria will, after the 2012 Men’s 18 European Championship, host another YAC Event in 2014. The 2014 Men’s 20 European Championships have been awarded to Austria.
In 2015, the Women’s 17 European Championship will be held in FYR Macedonia. In 2013, the Women’s 17 teams will meet in Poland for the next European Championship.
The Women’s 19 European Championship had to be newly awarded. Spain, Greece, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania and Slovakia have announced their interest and with the exception of Greece, all nations have submitted their bids to the EHF EURO Events department. Currently, the evaluation of the bids is taking place and the event will be awarded by the EHF Executive Committee on 21/22 September 2012. In 2013, Denmark will host the Women’s 19 European Championship.
