The EHF Arbitration Tribunal has made a decision in the case of the Handball Union of Russia.
The EHF Arbitration Tribunal has dealt with the case of the Women’s Beach Handball National Team of the Handball Union of Russia. The body was called together following the late withdrawal by the Handball Union of Russia of its women’s national team from the women’s event at the 2009 European Beach Handball Championships that took place in Larvik, Norway from June 23 to June 28, 2009. As a result, the Handball Union of Russia shall pay a monetary fine of €3,000 (Three Thousand Euro) and its national team is suspended from the next women’s event at the European Beach Handball Championships in 2011.
