The winners will play in the semi-finals either against Astrakhanochka or Metz, as the Russian club is the next hurdle of the French side, which is the part of the EHF European Cup competitions for the consecutive 20th season.
2002 and 2011 EHF Cup winners and leaders of the Danish league FC Midtjylland will have to jump over another Russian club HC Kuban Krasnodar, if they want to reach all-Scandinavian semi-finals. Team Tvis Holstebro, who eliminated the defending EHF Cup trophy holders Lada Togliatti in the Last 16, will clash with Tertnes Bergen, who ended up the European campaign of the reigning Challenge Cup winners HAC Havre in the previous round.
Information on the EHF Cup Finals draw
With certain constellation the home right draw of the EHF Cup finals planned for 16 April might not take place at all, since three teams were involved in the EC finals in the last three seasons and all of them had the home right in the second leg.
