Six clubs move to Men's EHF Cup in the upcoming season


EHF Cup competition upgrades announced

The EHF has announced that six men’s clubs have had their request for an upgraded place in the Men’s EHF Cup confirmed.

The clubs, which had qualified by right for the Men’s EHF Challenge Cup, have been upgraded to the second tier of Europe’s top club competitions, the Men's EHF Cup.

The clubs are:

HC Meshkov Brest (BLR)
Grundfos Tatabanya (HUN)
Haukar (ISL)
Maccabi Tyrec Tel-Aviv (ISR)
Fyllingen Bergen (NOR)
St. Otmar St. Gallen (SUI)

The complete competition system for the Men’s EHF Cup will be published at eurohandball.com on Tuesday, 16 July 2013. The European Cup draw is set to take place on Tuesday, 23 July 2013 at 11:00 hrs in the EHF Office in Vienna.
