Two EC finals draw on Tuesday
Three women’s European club competitions have reached the final stage as all the finalists for the Cup Winners’ Cup, the EHF Cup and the Challenge Cup made their way to their respective final over the last weekend.
The playing order of the final in the EHF Cup and the Challenge Cup will be drawn at the EHF Office in Vienna on Tuesday, 15 April at 11:00 hrs. local time. In both cases the first team drawn will play the first leg on the home court on3/4 May, while the second team will play host in the second leg one week later.
Lada Togliatti from Russia and Denmark’s Esbjerg qualified for the Women’s EHF Cup, while Sweden’s Höör 65 will face the French side Issy Paris Hand in the Women’s Challenge Cup.
The home right in both legs of the Women’s Cup Winners’ had to be allocated due to the fact that Denmark’s Viborg HK had the home right at the second leg during the last three seasons (2011/12 Cup Winners’ Cup Final). Viborg will therefore receive Zvezda Zvenigorod in the first leg before teams move to Russia for the second leg.
