NEWS REPORT: After a completion of the Men's EHF Cup Qualification Round 3 the seeding list for the group phase draw has been released.
Hamburg, Melsungen, FC Porto and Constanta in Pot 1
Three former VELUX EHF Champions League clubs including the 2012/13 winners HSV Hamburg and one club in its European premiere season have been seeded in the top pot for the Men's EHF Cup Group Phase Draw following the completion of a three-round qualification last weekend.
The draw, which will take place on Thursday 4 December at the EHF Office in Vienna (11.00 hrs), will determine all four groups of the group phase. The first round is scheduled for 14-15 February 2015.
Last season's Champions League debutants FC Porto, MT Melsungen in their first continental season and HCM Constanta, who made it to the EHF Cup Finals in Berlin will join Hamburg in the Pot 1.
The last season's EHF Cup Finals hosts Füchse Berlin will be drawn from the Pot 3 together with Russia's St. Petersburg, Slovenia's Gorenje Velenje and Sweden's Eskilstuna Guif, while Team Tvis Holstebro, who took part at the first EHF Cup Finals in 2013 are seeded in the Pot 4.
Two teams from the same country cannot meet each other in the group, which means that Füchse will face either Porto or Constanta from the top pot.
There will be various channels available on Thursday to follow the EHF Cup Group Phase Draw. Apart from the live ticker on www.eurohandball.com and the coverage on @EHFMedia Twitter channel there will be also a live streaming provided.
