All available seating places for the LIQUI MOLY EHF Cup Finals sold

Fan interest in the LIQUI MOLY EHF Cup Finals taking place on 20 and 21 May 2017 in Göppingen's EWS Arena is huge. Just two weeks since the start of ticket sales, hosts Frisch Auf Göppingen announced that besides the contingent for the participating teams, tickets for seating places are no longer available. Approximately 700 standing places are still on sale.

That underlines the attractiveness of the LIQUI MOLY EHF Cup Finals. Hosts Frisch Auf Göppingen already booked their place in the final tournament, which makes the event even more attractive for German fans.

"The demand for tickets for the LIQUI MOLY EHF CUP Finals is still running. The ticket sale is running at full speed. Fans who wish to get a standing place at the arena should not hesitate and book a ticket," says Daniel Weiß, responsible for the ticketing at the club.

"After our team qualified directly for the event there was another batch of tickets sold. We expect the next peak of ticket sales at the beginning of May, when the quarter-finals are played and all participating teams are confirmed.

"We hope the teams will come with full support to Göppingen and use their ticket contingent. An arena full with fans from all participating teams is what the event lives for," concludes Weiß.

With hosts Frisch Auf Göppingen as the one team going directly to the LIQUI MOLY EHF CUP Finals, the other three spots will be decided in the three quarter-finals. All German teams finished first in their group and therefore avoided an all-German clash.

2015 Men’s EHF Cup winners Füchse Berlin will face Hungary’s Grundfos Tatabanya while SC Magdeburg will play against Helvetia Anaitasuna from Spain and MT Melsungen will play their quarter-final against the France’s Saint-Raphael Var Handball. The first leg will be played on 22/23 April, the second leg follows one week later.
