Germany triumph at MU21 World Championship

After Tunisia took the Bronze medal with a 24:18-victory over Egypt in PAOK Sport Arena, Thessaloniki (GRE), the all-European final got underway.

In the gold match of the XVIII IHF World Handball Men's Junior Championship, reigning world champions Germany took on the European champions Denmark. Those teams also met in the final of the same event two years ago, when Germany won by eight goals.

And it was the Germans again, who dominated most of the match, with great defending and an outstanding goalkeeper Nils Desrusse. After a tight period in second half, they managed to win the game with a nine-goal margin and successfully defend their title.
