Officials honoured at EHF 20th Anniversary

This evening saw special awards presented in recognition of the 20th Anniversary of the European Handball Federation.

As part of the ‘HeartBeat HandBall’ celebrations in Vienna, the EHF handed out awards in the three different categories of ‘Players’, ‘Officials’ and ‘Partners’.

The award for the officials, entitled ‘The EHF Handball Award’ was in acknowledgement of those officials who were influential in the early days of the EHF back in 1991 and who are still active in the handball world. Those awarded were:

Jesus Guerrero - Member EHF Competitions Commission
Rui Coelho - President Court of Appeal
Jan Tuik - EHF Executive Committee Member
Sandor Andorka - Member Competitions Commission
Bogdan Macovei - Member Methods Commission
