Skopje's match sold out in two hours

Metalurg Skopje will have the support from a hall full of loud fans on Sunday against Vive Targi Kielce in Round 5 of the VELUX EHF Champion League Group Phase, after all 7,000 tickets were sold in a record two hours.

There was a similar demand for tickets last year in the last 16 tie against Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb, but then, the tickets were sold out in three and a half hours.

Metalurg Skopje vs Vive Targi Kielce is the ehfTV Match of the Week on Sunday at 18:00 hrs local time in the Boris Trajkovski arena.

This time, every fan was limited to purchase a maximum of four tickets. Metalurg has had every VELUX EHF Champions League game sold out for the second season, and this time around, it happened in record time thanks to the club’s excellent results so far.

After four rounds, Metalurg have a perfect four wins from four games, which has never happened to a men's club from Macedonia in the VELUX EHF Champions League.

Many people waited outside tickets offices hoping to get theirs in time.

“When the club announced that they will start selling tickets, I immediately went out to buy. I waited for half an hour before the sales began, and I am happy that I bought mine early.

“Many were left disappointed and empty-handed, and I am glad it was not me,” one of the lucky fans, Nikola Jovanovski, told ehfcl.com
