The Women’s 17 European Championship Qualification was played from 6 to 8 March 2009. 15 teams qualified for the Final Tournament along with the organising federation.
The draw for the 2009 Women’s 17 European Championship final tournament will be held in the EHF Office in Vienna, Austria, on Tuesday, 24 March 2009, at 11.00 hrs. together with the draw of the Qualification for the Women’s EHF EURO 2010 in Denmark and Norway and for the 2008/2009 Women’s European Cup semi-finals.
