13 places to be decided among 28 teams
The qualification registration for the 2013 EHF Women's 19 European Championship in Denmark was completed on Friday, September 28.
31 entries were registered for the tournament. Denmark as the organising nation as well as the first ranked nation at the 2011 EHF Women's 17 European Championship in the Czech Republic is already qualified.
Russia and Norway, second and third at the 2011 EHF Women's 17 EURO respectively, are also already qualified.
The remaining 13 places will be decided among 28 European nations. The qualification tournaments will be played from 17 to 19 May 2013.
Those 28 nations are: Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey and Ukraine.
The draw for the qualification groups will take place in Vienna, Austria on 23 October 2012 at approximately 11:00 hrs.
The playing dates for the EHF Women's 19 European Championship are from 1 to 11 August 2013.
