In the last round of the Croatian Championship HC Podravka Vegeta defeated Zamet 40:22 (22:12). Key player of the match was left wing Maja Zebić who scored six goals. With that victory Podravka won their 17th Croatian championship title.
Squad movement
While Maja Zebić, Anita Gaće, Ivana Petković and Maja Kožnjak prolonged their contracts for two more years, Podravka Vegeta also signed three new players: Croatian internationals Nikica Pušić (left wing) and Vesna Milanović-Litre (line) from Lokomotiva Zagreb and Montenegrin international Sandra Nikčević (left back) from Arena Pula.
News from the management side: Božica Palčić was officially introduced as the new director of HC Podravka Vegeta. She was appointed for a four year period.
