Cancelled: 2010 Champion’s Trophy

It is with regret that the European Handball Federation has to announce the cancellation of the 3rd edition of the Women’s and Men’s Champion’s Trophies, scheduled to take place in September 2010.

The tournament started in 1996 under the title of European Championship for Club Teams, and was relaunched by the EHF under the new name of Champions Trophy in 2007. It is a tournament with the winners of the EHF Champions League, the EHF Cup and the Cup Winners’ Cup and a wild card entrant.

Unfortunately it was not possible to secure the Women’s and Men’s event this year. The qualified teams were informed accordingly.
