Suspension of Anton Rubizov (Zarja Kaspija Astrakhan/ RUS) for one match of EHF club competitions.
Vienna, 28 November 2008 - The EHF Body of 1st Instance has dealt with the case of Anton Rubizov (Zarja Kaspija Astrakhan/ RUS).
The body was called together following the direct disqualification of Anton Rubizov in the last seconds (59:54) of the Men's EHF Cup match between Zarja Kaspija Astrakhan/ RUS and HC Meshkov Brest/ BLR, for an action of serious unsportsmanlike conduct. The game was played in Round 3 of the Men's EHF Cup on 23 November 2008.
As a result, Rubizov has been suspended for one match of an EHF club competition, which means that he will not be eligible to play in the next EHF Cup match (Maccabi Rishon Le Zion/ ISR vs Zarja Kaspija Astrakhan/ RUS on 14/15 February 2008).
