Balić to stay with HC Croatia Osiguranje-Zagreb

After much speculation about the future of Ivano Balić at HC Croatia Osiguranje-Zagreb, it has been officially confirmed that the best Croatian handball player will stay at the best Croatian handball club.

Due to financial pressures, the club was forced to lower the salaries of the players, including Balić. Other clubs interested in Balić saw this development as an opportunity and thus began the speculation about Balić and possible new destinations. After months of negotiations between Ivano Balić and the management of HC Croatia Osiguranje-Zagreb; both parties came to a mutually satisfactory agreement uniting the star club and start player for the foreseeable future.
