EHF EURO 2012 Workshop
The Dutch Handball Federation and Organising Committee representatives visited the EHF Offices in Vienna for meetings on the 2nd and 3rd March 2009 to have an initial meeting about the future event.
Items that were discussed included event logistics, venues, organisation structures and promotional events.
The final weekend venue for EHF EURO 2012 will be the Ahoy Rotterdam Hall. Other venues will be the Topsportcentre Almere, the Omnisportscenter Apeldoorn and the Indoor Sports Centre Eindhoven.
In order to move forward with organisation for the event a future timeline was discussed and planned in further detail.
In December 2008 the Dutch Handball Federation were awarded the organisation rights of the YAC Women’s 19 European Championship. They discussed their intention to use the YAC event as a good opportunity to promote the EHF EURO 2012 event.
