EURO 2010 meeting in Vienna

The upcoming EURO Event, the Men’s EHF EURO 2010 in Austria will be in the spotlight on Monday, 23 March 2009.

With 300 days to go until the Final Tournament and the Qualification process going on for the national teams, the managers of all five EURO 2010 venues, Graz, Linz, Innsbruck, Wiener Neustadt and Vienna, will arrive in the EHF Headquarters for a workshop on Monday.

High quality playing halls and a good venue set-up are fundamental parts of a successfully organised EURO Event. Accordingly, the venue managers will be meeting a number of parties involved in the EURO organisation.

The EHF Competitions and EURO responsibles will host the local organisers, but the Austrian Handball Federation, marketing and media partner Infront, IT partner Swiss Timing, and host broadcaster ORF will also take part in the discussions.

The various parties will present a number of aspects to be taken care of in the run-up to the event, such as competitions, TV, media and spectators’ requirements.
