France lead National Team Ranking

As the EHF EURO 2010 ended in Austria, the European Handball Federation has updated the Men’s National Team Ranking.

The document is the official ranking based on the performances at the last three major international competitions, the EHF EURO 2008 in Norway, the 2009 IHF World Championship in Croatia and the EHF EURO 2010 in Austria.

By winning the World and the European Championship, France took the top position of the ranking. Croatia are second with three silver medals from the last three competitions, while Denmark are third.

The National Team Ranking will serve as a basis for the EHF EURO 2012 draw. Date, venue and technical information on the draw event will be coming up soon.
